Our social one. Ginger meets every guest at the door and is the dog our kids read next to.

Our family
We are a family in Arlington, Washington, raising a small number of Mini Doodle litters each year in our home in Snohomish County.

Joyful Doodles started the way most of these things do — with one dog we loved and a lot of people asking where she came from. We are a family first, and everything about how we breed follows from that.
We focus on smaller Doodles because that is the dog most of the families we meet actually want: something sturdy enough for kids and travel, small enough for a regular house, a car, a hike or a nap on the couch.
Our dogs are house dogs. They sleep in our rooms, ride in our car and are part of the daily noise. Puppies are born and raised in the middle of that, not in a separate building.
We plan about three litters a year and no more. Staying small is the only way we can raise puppies this way and still know every family we place one with.

Smart, tidy and quick to learn. Teddy is the reason our puppies stay on the smaller side.

The calm center of our house. Cinnamon is patient with puppies and happiest lying in a doorway where she can see everyone.
